This model creates incredible tone courtesy of its specialized pickup pairing: a Fender Designed™ alnico single-coil bridge pickup delivers the classic Telecaster twang and snap, while a humbucking neck pickup (SH configuration) provides a thicker, warmer tone for blues, rock, and jazz.

The most distinctive performance feature is the Bigsby® vibrato tailpiece. This allows for smooth, expressive pitch bending effects and features a string-through design for easy restringing. The Bigsby is perfectly complimented by a floating bridge with barrel saddles for optimal intonation stability.
